Location
Saska Kępa is located at the right side of the Vistula river, yet it has great connection to the city center: Poniatowski Bridge (Most Poniatowskiego) lets every vehicle owner, as well as users of public means transportat, to quickly reach the city center. Streetcars will take anyone straight to Złote Tarasy (Golden Terraces) mall even in the rush hours. Saska Kępa has great bus connections with many parts of the city. There is also subway line two station nearby the National Stadium, just a few steps behind the boundaries of Saska Kępa.
Saska Kępa is a biker-friendly area. Volume of traffic on many streets of the district is usually low, and bike lanes stretch along the main roads.

Saska Kępa is a district of very special character – it is one of a very few places in Warsaw free from tower-block housing estates which did not manage to appear here after the war. Only cozy, low-building architecture remained: villas, tenement houses, modern apartment buildings. Purchasing a property in the area may be exceptionally difficult, since the number of people interested in buying noticeably exceeds the number of free apartments on the market.
